My random freezing problems have been solved. Here is what I did to fix the problem 1. Ran memtest86+ through GRUB and it kept freezing on tests for the 1st pass. 2. In the BIOS I changed the DRAM Frequency from the default Auto/533MHz to 400MHz. 3. Ran memtest86+ and after several hours of runnin

I am also experiancing the same problem after the update from testing with xserver-xorg-video-openchrome 1:0.2.904+svn842-1. At the GDM login screen X just freezes. A hard reboot is required. In conjunction with other X freeze issues I reported this problem recently. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bi
