Sorry, It's not the same bug.
I think that the same bug is running in my computer with GNOME 2.30.2
(stable). I don't know exactly when it appeared, but I think it was in a
recent debian update.
If you told me how to take additional info, I will send it to you.

I’ve installed a new system using “Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 r3 _etch_ Official i386

When upgrading the system it removes almost every package and then tries to
install new ones.
