I vote for adding it back to the archive, it's a really a nice & useful tool
with unique functionality, AFAIK there's no known alternative to it.

Oops! Yes, I have found a script /usr/local/sbin/tr which seems to have
caused all problems in this case. After removing it everything seems to
work OK, so this bug can probably be closed. Sorry for false alert.

These problems quite resemble closed bug #494468, and as neither generated
locale.gen nor its manual page contains any warning or explanations
about not preserving user changes to that file, even this bug might

Package: ipe
Version: 7.0.10-1dd
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
After building ipe on Squeeze, the ipe package failed to install because
of unsatisfied dependency on lua5.1. The problem can be solved by

I eventually looked into /usr/share/doc/vim-addon-manager/addons-proposal.txt.
It says:

The tool "update-vim-addons" (to be used by sysadms) consumes as input
the configuration file /etc/vim/addons

Package: libnanohttp1

libnanohttp1 depends on libtool and libtool depends on another chain of
development tools. This forces people to install all these tools on
