The issue was that reportbug did not seem to be working at the time i
reported those two pidgin bugs (which were actually the same bug ->
one was wrongly rated the other probably higher than it should have
been).
Both were actually mistakes.
Thank you.

When i had filled it i was not aware that 2.5.9 was in debian sid at the time.
I also was not sure if reportbug was actually working.

lsmod shows the module is loaded.
I am still experiencing this bug. Perhaps it is a limitation of having
a bios password. I will test it again, with the bios password
disabled.

The bug is not really that the program doesn't run, the bug is that
MAXPATHLEN is not defined with a valid value. Please see the urls previously
provided for more information...In addition,to the much better description
provided by Robert Scheck at

Oh i forgot to add that the The smb.conf man page says the following
regarding case sensitivity;
" case sensitive = yes/no/auto
controls whether filenames are case sensitive. If they aren´t,
default setting of auto allows clients that support case
sensitive
access
Ah ext3 is case sensitive it is not a wish list feature because real
data can be lost without a warning. By default samba (is not exporting
shares that are case sensitive apparently) and nautilus does not prompt the
user leading to data loss. Perhaps the default configuration for samba
should
Package: nautilus
Version: 2.20.0-7
Severity: grave
Justification: causes non-serious data loss
Hi I found a bug on ubuntu launchpad and reproduced it is (the bug)
currently in debian lenny and is filed upstream (i filled it upstream).

Hello,
the bug is related to syntax change of smbpasswd: starting from samba version
3.0.8 it no longer accepts password on command line, like kcmsamba seems to
call it when adding new user or changing user password.
A quick and dirty workaround could be:
dpkg-divert --add --rename --divert /u
Based on Reinhard's uploaded files i have created binary packages on an
nslu2 running debian etch. I do not know if somebody is interested or not,
but i would like to contribute to the project as i want to use boxbackup
on nslu2.
