I have the same problem when trying to copy paste from a Thunar window to the
desktop, regardless of using the keys or doing it via right-click context menu.
It happens every time. Copy paste between 2 windows works every time.

I honestly do not know where to put this, but from what I see, my reasoning is
that it's gtk's fault. Sorry if I posted the bug in the wrong section, gtk is
very complex and I am but an intermediate user

People should not be forced to use said music player and imag viewer,
