I do not understand:
Raspi4: Kernel 5.7.x has mmcblk1p1 and mmcblk1p2 while
Raspi3: Kernel 4.19.0-9 has mmcblk0p1 and mmcblk0p2
why this?
I think this is the reason of this bug

i had the same problem on my QNAP TS-219p II.
I have fixed by setting COMPRESS=xz in
/etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf for now.
I'am looking forward what will happen on newer kernels.
