I didn't see that in documentation.
However in the code,file ./opendkim/util.c there is a commentary

which suggest it should try both versions.

This is not a XFCE related bug, but rather MIME or local settings.
Try to create file "~/.local/share/applications/defaults.list" which contains
[Default Applications]
application/pdf=evince.desktop
or add that line if file/section exists.
I guess you wish to have evince as an opener for pdf.

Squeeze installation. Installer hangs after reading the cd-rom. I have openned
console (using alt-f2) and read the log: installer tries to read floppy, but
there is no any floppy. There is multybay (doc station) but without a flopp
