Bug#901919: this bug hits hard

2018-07-03 Thread Vladimir Zhuravlev
Please at the very least spread the word about the usercopy_fallback workaround, if the bug cannot be fixed for now. I was also affected, it took me several hours to find what the problem was. There was also an unrelated timidity bug that killed sound too in the recent update. So yesterday I

I am getting the same xf86EnableIOPorts: failed to set IOPL for I/O (Operation not permitted) error in gdm3 / startx after the recent xorg update. Only root can run startx with 7.7+12 on my machine. Luckily, downgrade to 7.7+7 fixed the regression.

2009-02-18 Thread Vladimir Zhuravlev
Hi John, I set tab-width to 8, but Octave mode does not care about this. Then I tell it to indent (say, M-C-q), it uses tabs of two spaces, which is _not_ nice. regards, Vladimir John W. Eaton wrote: On 18-Feb-2009, Vladimir Z wrote: | Package: octave3.0-emacsen | Version: 1:3.0.1-6lenny3 |
