After the update from Squeeze to Wheezy, during every boot I see this message:

The 'pcscd' group is not present in /etc/passwd, and I never removed it.

Upgrading from Squeeze to Wheezy.
In Squeeze I found a good management of usb mass storage devices.
Clicking on the icon in the tray, it's possible to
-open the filesystem with file manager
-open it with a photo-so

The issue happens loading Timidity with timidity-daemon in a pulseaudio
environment. If Timidity is loaded from the user (on a terminal inside kde
session) everything works.
With daemon it's not that it doesn't work at all: it work

The combination PS2 KVM switch - Vmware Workstation or Player fails also on
other new LInux distribution.
I've tested Fedora 20, Ubuntu 12.04LTS and Ubuntu 13.10.

A role in this issue is played by the presence of a KVM switch. If I bypass the
switch and connect the mouse directly to the PC, the issue doesn't happen.
Note: the issue does not happen when I switch PCs.
