Hi,
Is there any news about this bug? I'm still having problems with it, 4 to 5
times a week.
I'm sorry, but I won't be able to give you other information about this
bug. I couldn't wait and I had to install Debian again. I work with this
computer.
Thanks!
Colin Watson,
I believe that some of them didn't work.

I forgot to say that there's no message on the screen. My system goes

Hello,
After latest Debian Jessie (testing) updates, grub2 is not working.
Actually, there's no boot loader being showed. I check every update
list, and I saw that grub2 was being updated today, so I think it's
something related to some new version.

Hello,
I would like to report a Kernel Panic after latest updates from Debian.
I'm able to use the system for a while without any problems. But I could
not determine the source of the problem.

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand. You say it is already fixed, but I'm
still not able to upgrade the system (03-oct-2014). Do we have to wait for
the fix to be uploaded to Debian servers?
Problem solved by updating the BIOS to a newer (more recent) version.
There's no need to install i8kutils, as the fan seems to be working normal.

Solution: updated BIOS from A15 to A17 (A16 was the one responsible for
fixing thermal functions).
Thanks
Hello
I still could not solve the problem. I am using Windows 8.1 and I really
need to fix this issue in order to come back to Debian. Is there any news
regarding the solution of the problem?
Sorry for the wrong i8kutils version. It is 1.33.
Hello,
I'm back on Debian with this setup:
Debian Wheezy
Kernel 3.12-0.bpo.1-amd64
i8kutils 3.13
The fan is still working on full speed.
Is there any solution for this?
I'm no longer using Debian on this notebook, as the result of this bug is
quick battery discharging (and a lot of noise). I'm planning on installing
it again, but next week.
Can I test it on debian live?
Good morning.
I'm really sorry for not providing enough information, but I'll do my best
to reproduce the error and see what happens when using Chromium or Firefox
at the same procedure.
I didn't test the SSH either, and that's a good idea. I will enable the
service and try to access it. Could yo
