Hi Emilio,
godot3 and godot (4.x) have been in NEW for a few months. They are large
packages and so may take a while to be reviewed.
Unfortunately we are in soft freeze for trixie, meaning that even if
Godot 4.x passes NEW now it will not be allowed to migrate into trixie.
Best,
Travis
Hi Helmut,
I forwarded your patch to upstream, who requested changes that keep the
conditional for cross-building. Maybe you'd like to comment on the pull
request with your thoughts in case you disagree, since I am not as
familiar with cross building as you are.

Sorry that I didn't get a chance to upload 5.11 before the freeze. I was
waiting on luanti-game-minetest to pass NEW. Glad to hear Asuna fixed
their 5.10 support regardless.
I'll keep this open to track 5.11 packaging progress.

I have committed the fix to Salsa and tagged a release but I am still
waiting on my usual sponsor, Tobias Frost, or someone else to upload.

Hi Helmut,
This was my fault as I prepped most of the package changes for this
Luanti rename. I applied your patch [0] and don't see any diverted files
after upgrading from minetest-server 5.8 to luanti-server on a Trixie VM:
$ ls -alh /lib/systemd/system/{luanti,minetest}*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root
Package: libwslay-dev
Version: 1.1.1-4
Severity: normal
The source package contains a .pc file template [0] but it isn't
installed into the -dev binary package. This requires dependant Debian
packages like godot to patch [1] this functionality in manually.

Since Godot migrated from openssl to mbedtls this package has embedded
mbedtls.
The current version in unstable (3.6) only builds with mbedtls 2.x but
Debian is on
The latest packaged version of Godot in unstable (3.6+ds) patches the
StartupWMClass to be Godot3, which may fix this.
Could you try the latest version and see if this behavior still occurs?
The Godot game engine is an unusual case at the moment for a few
reasons:
1) Godot 4.x has dropped support for GLES2 and therefore lots of
(slightly) older hardware that is still targetable in 3.x.
2) The 4.x engine can't run 3.x games directly. It must do a one-time
migration on the codeba
(then maybe drop Godot3 after release)

I have started working on updating the package to 5.10 and performing
the necessary renames in an MR [0] on Salsa. It is still very
preliminary.

Hello Games Team,
I have been slowly working towards packaging Godot 4.3 now that the
stable release is out.
I'm relatively new to Debian packaging and this is a major version
bump so I'm hoping you all could guide me towards something worth
uploading :)
I created an MR [0] in Salsa with the cur
