configuration files have nested includes (file A includes B, which
includes C) with this error message:

suggest that fail2ban's behaviour is the following:

When the last security advisory came out, I recompiled the mysql
package, as I always do, because I need to apply a custom patch.
I ran the usual apt-get build-dep, apt-get source, applied my patch,
./debian/rules binary, dpkg -i.
