Hi,
I can confirm this. After upgrading network-manager-gnome and libnma0
from 1.8.6-1 to 1.8.10-1 the nm-applet crashes after I initiate a vpn
connection. I'm on testing too.
I just reinstalled 1.8.6-1 of both packages and everything works again.
This happens with an active wlan connection:
