No, check the archives on this discussion and why it has not been implemented in the past decade. Putting it into the bug tracker is just trying to end run around that history and only goes to show that if people can't get their way in one method they will attempt to subvert a different method

Package: thunderbird Version: 1.5-4 Severity: minor Whenever Thunderbird marks mail as spam or when marking mail as spam the "junk" icon is not displayed. The normal dot as well as the question mark for unknown messages are displayed. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable AP
