Hi, after more games played, it seems that the behaviour is inconsistent.

The new menu choice of the desktop to install is great! The sad thing is that
it isn't documented enough!
And I'm suprised that you are so concerned with newbies. I've hardly ever seen
a newbie installing Debian!
In my case, if I knew this option, I would have got far less problems!

I fully agree with Didier's comment. Same thing just happened to me with Lenny
installer. I suggest that the installer should do "aptitude clean" when
available space becomes low.

Hi, I can't believe that a script in a stable Debian is so poorly made.
Variables aren't protected, not a single explanation about what the code
is doing... A half-answer to the bug is to set the NUMLOCK value in the
config file.
