On one of my Hosts the iftop command doesn't show any traffic but there
is such on the eth0 device.

I've switched back to dovecot Version 1.1.12-1 and it also NOT worked in
the first try. So I changed some settings and tried around with the
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf and the result was, that if I got under an
special limit with two settings the error occured again and when I rised
these settings t

Since the update at 2009/04/02 08:00 Dovecot dies on startup at the
auth-process with the following message:

"string" it will enable it, but I don't know if this is correct.
Please re-open the Bug to resolve the issue.
