I have reproduced the error on a debian-based system with the same minimal
test case.

Dear Maintainer,
While running `checkbashisms.pl` against `/usr/bin/texi2pdf` from the
`texinfo` package I encountered an unexpected error. I have reduced
the situation to a minimal test case as follows:
$ cat te
I wanted to point out that `shellcheck -s dash` doesn't identify `type` as
a bashism because it also exists as a builtin in dash. I would be surprised
if this is the only example missing from shellcheck, but I haven't
exhaustively compared them myself.
