Dear Maintainer,
I am in testing, and found after the recent v1.14 into testing release
that xfdesktop did not start.
I reported it to xfdesktop, but I think it might be a dbus package

Hi,
I had success in a similar (identical?) situation by setting these two env
variables before launching FreeCAD:
QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0
Hi all
I came across this combination in
https://tracker.freecadweb.org/view.php?id=4351
export QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1
export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0
Applying those two variables makes the debian packaged FreeCAD work just
fine.
I tried QT_SCALE_FACTOR in a scattergun fashion between 0.1 and 2.
Package: vbetool

Tasksel -> laptop gives rise to hang at "Saving VESA state" on reboot.
Tasksel -> standard gives OK start
