OK. "modprobe rt2500pci" solved my problem.
Does that mean I should close this bug?
I solved this issue by installing python2.4-dev. It had nothing to do with
the problem I was having setting scribes to be the gnome-text-editor.
Please close it.

On my system, bot AMD64 and i386, after install trying to execute from
the menu, or from the command prompt (gpowertweak), the program
immediately fails.
