on of the package
doesn't get propagated to the users. It still hasn't been propagated in
sarge, despite at least three independent bug reports before sarge was
released. That is the problem. It still needs fixing now.

Package: ntpdate
Version: 1:4.2.0a+stable-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
The clocks on my sarge boxes are drifting because the fix for bug #294636
*still*
hasn't found its way into sarge. Any other box without an IPv6 route to the ntp
server may have the same problem.
Package: gramps
Version: 2.0.1-1
Severity: minor
Unlike version 1.0.11-1, this one doesn't seem to install a desktop icon,
at least on a sarge box.

Why does squid need to be down while other packages, which squid does
not depend on, are being upgraded? How come only squid has this
problem?

preferably important.

I hope this info is useful. My apologies if it isn't.

Package: kmail
Version: 3.3.1-3
Severity: wishlist
Kmail does not appear to have any facility for decoding ROT13-encoded
message content. This would be a useful addition, IMHO. TIA
