But there is no more compilation problem when I use the version 1996/10/09 of
vita.cls (ctan) instead of 1995/02/07
(Debian).
Please update vita to correct this problem.

compiles the file only one time instead of two, and the endmark is missing.
An extra compilation is also missing when you modify the proof, e.g.
"\[0+0\]" ===> "\[0+0\] a"
and then run rubber.
