`state':/lib/iptables/libip6t_state.so: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory
However, other distros seem to have it:

The three years since it was reported.
It indeed works in /usr/sbin. :-) But /usr/sbin is not in normal
users' PATH... So this creates a minor inconvenience.

Well, iputils-tracepath does NOT require superuser privileges, so put
it in /usr/bin.
Also, the maintainer does NOT seem to maintain this package. What
action is to be taken?
