It is also worth mentioning, that the current state of qt5-multimedia
does not allow decoding H.264 videos using the Qml Video element.
The package needs gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg to successfully play h.264 videos
from Qt applications.
qstreamer0.10-ffmpeg is no longer available in jessie or sid.
I do not think this package would be useful for others, so I decided to
abort the process.
