Further information: When I start compiz from the command line, I get a
segmentation fault with some information about where in the compiz script
the problem is occuring. Here is the output:

Just to report that I'm suffering from this bug too. I can replicate the
File->New->Spreadsheet and then click on Sheet 2. I also suffer other
crashes when working with spreadsheets, which I presume are related. For
example, I'm getting intermittent crashes when opening a second spreadsheet.

The function randbetween() always returns zero on amd64. On i386,
randbetween() functions as correctly.
As a work around, one can use rand() and round() instead.

I am using deskmenu with xfwm4 (4.3.99.2-1). Deskmenu does not display any
windows in the window list. Instead, it displays a tiny 2x2ish pixel submenu
with no entries. Other submenus, including workspaces, work as normal. I am
able to cycle through windows with xf
