I can confirm this bug as well.
/etc/softhsm/softhsm.conf (minus comments) reads:
0:/var/lib/lib/softhsm/slot0.db
But it should read:
0:/var/lib/softhsm/slot0.db
I think this was incorrectly reassigned to package "ctdb" it looks like
the initial assignment of "ntdb" was correct.

Agreed, the severity should be bumped up on this, I spent many hours
after a lenny to squeeze upgrade figuring out what the problem was. I
request that the previously attached patch (a simple one liner) be
applied for a squeeze update.
