a classic one, I'm not able to use BACKSPACE in emacs while inside
screen, but BACKSPACE in emacs works perfectly without screen.
steps,
1. start xfce-terminal.
2. start screen.
3. start emacs -nw.
4. C-x C-f then type BACKSPACE, you will get e
ndency to xfce4-goodies package
instead of only 'squeeze'.
is xfce4-goodies desperately need squeeze?
Thanks,
Mohan R

Please make xfce4-goodies dependency to squeeze | xarchiver, I'm not
able to remove squeeze and install xarchiver. I can directly install xarchiver,
but having two application for same purpose is useless.

date for a
stable release.
I just concerned about the conflicts if I install two version of gcc.
Installing gcc-4.1(with its dependencies) just for linux-headers-2.6.26.2-amd64
package seems waste of bandwidth and storage. Because I already installed
'gcc-4.3' and its working smooth
hen I installed 'gcc' package, aptitude installed 'gcc-4.3'.
Is gcc-4.1 desperately needed for this package? can't we change the dependency
to accept >= gcc-4.1?
Thanks,
Mohan R.
