To clarify, you should replace i686-linux-gnu with x86_64-linux-gnu on
your system, and adjust 4.9 to whichever version of gcc is installed.

Hi Markus,
I think the root of the issue is a missing dependency in libSym.so.3 on the
libgomp. The library should still be usable from clang.
When compiling against the library, try linking with:
-L/usr/lib/gcc/i686-linux-gnu/4.9/ -lgomp

Thanks for reviewing the package. I've uploaded a new version that
should address your comments, and modified the changelog to target
experimental.
I'd like to push forward with the transition, if you're interested.
A few of the coinor packages in the nice depgraph you generated are
