I found the solution by installing a later version of libgnomecups1.0-1
(0.2.2-1). Perhaps the dependency for libgnomeprint2.2-0 on
libgnomecups1.0-1 should have a (suitable) minimum version to stop this
happening?

slightly.

appears in the Debian menu, I still think it should be added seeing as
K3b is probably one of the most used KDE applications on Gnome.

installation. This was with no sound cards, onboard or
