I am unable to install guile-2.0-dev due to dependencies that can not
be satisfied. Apt says:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
guile-2.0-dev : Depends: libncurses5-dev but it is not going to be
installed

Thanks for your help. I was able to force a downgrade to wheezy and
install the package.
I did not mention that I have a "mixed system" because I was not aware
that there is such a thing. Off-hand, I probably would not even have
remembered installing packages from testing. I am not contesting
