This is actually an upstream bug which was already fixed by PHP. However, it is
missing in Debian and seems to block us from using TYPO3 CMS with Debian
Squeeze.

Interestingly I'm having exactly the same problem like Toni. Same TYPO3
version, same line, same error.
The error log says:

Why is nothing happening with this bug when it seems the problem cannot be
reproduced anymore?
