I don't think this is REALLY appropriate by now as python2.5 sits in
experimental as of now, and adding the support to pygtk will force its

thanks for the bug report. I solved by dropping the gnutls dep, because
it's recursively pulled in by libsoup2.2, that unfortunately _still_
depends on gnutls11, therefore the bug is not closed. I'll get a new
version uploaded when libsoup migrates to gnutls13.

updates in unstable, and this seems fixed. I'm pretty sure it wasn't
g-c-c's fault though, as another horrible bug I found in 2.14.0 got
