I have Debian 9 where I do some software development of software in Rust
language. I have Debian 10 where I do some other things.
I change and compiled a Rust program from Debian 10 into Debian 9, using a
terminal as super user.

Using Synaptic to update properly the packages, I need to login in the
administrator desktop. Only in the administrator desktop I can update properly
the packages.
The same happens when install new packages (non free) using gdebi.

When I install the clock (xfce-4 goodies) the default layout is Digital. Then I
can change to LCD. After that I cannot go back to layout Digital. The clock

I would like to have Xfce in English and locales in Portuguese, automatically

additional dependencies: plasma-workspace and kdepim-runtime. Kalarm works

I tried to install Kalarm in Debian 10, only with the Xfce installed. To
have a full functional Kalarm I needed to additionally install the
packages: kdepim-runtime and kderun.

My windows manager is Xfce. Using Thunar - when I opened a directory containing
perl programs, somethimes I click two times on a perl program to start it. No
