Dear Maintainer,
this problem is similar (but not equal) to Debian Bug #813687 and it is
observed on a ThinkPad X220 running Stretch with mutter upgraded to 3.18.3-2 as
suggested in #813687.
Whenever I dock or undock the laptop, Gnome freezes
Apparently I have the same problem.
However, I've notice that timidity shutdown process is labeled "ok"
*before* the 20-30 second stop. In my setup, the shutdown of timidity is
followed by the shutdown of VirtualBox net services; I'm wondering if
the problem is in these services, rather that in t
