Dear Maintainer,
Installshield-3.0 shows a weird font when using the official debian
package (and built debian packages), whereas directly built wine runs
fine. This weird font means that some input fie
no packages.
xmms2 suggests no packages.

You could use my unichrome git tree, you can dpkg-buildpackage it.
git clone

your side.

Is it really that much trouble? That much excess?
Like most people, i'm a sporadic user of this program, and i tend to get
pretty miffed when what should be an institution is plainly MIA.

Miffed author too.

hen you look closely, then you'll see that this isn't a P4M800, but a
P4M800Pro/CE, and there is a quite fundamental difference between those.

Could you try xf86-video-unichrome available from
http://unichrome.sf.net/ and see if this problem remains?

The debian x.org comes with a unichrome.sf.net version and the
appropriate manpage. The X.org 6.8.2 release still came with something
very closely resembling the august 2003 VIA release (due to my tardyness
when 6.

an attribute system, it will, next to ch7011, also support vt1622.
An attribute system here, for unichrome, will mean that everyone should
be able to control quite a lot of driver and output devices related
parameters, dynamically.

will require a sisctrl like application, which is one of the many things
on my TODO list.
The list of available modes is provided in the manpage. I have reproduced
what was accepted by your X, and reported in your log, above.

That patch fixes many things, but it doesn't fix unichrome pro (PM/N800
in this case) support. Nothing much currently does so in a way that i'd
support. Testing is far from complete and i don't have access to this
type of hardware myself.
