Okay, I have just tried version 3.2h and it compiles (and works) like
a charm. It only contains very minor changes so packaging it is pretty
straight forward. Please do so to fix this bug.

The changelog for version 3.2h says "Worked around block layer
interface breakage on linux-2.6.32-rc kernels.", so I would say
there's a good chance that this is fixed in that release. I'll test it
as soon as I have some spare time, feel free to try it yourself in the
meantime.

I'm experiencing the same problem, I just wanted to note that for
newly created users compiz works just fine. I couldn't yet figure out
which part of the configuration causes this bug, but I'm still trying.
I would appreciate any hints in the right direction.

I can confirm a similar issue, I suspect it's the same. It's described
in http://sourceforge.net/projects/checkgmail/forums/forum/463626/topic/3405947/
The author fixed it in svn revision 40, I tested it and it seems to
work fine now. I would suggest that you try to update to that
revision.

I have now added libwrap0 and libgdbm3 to ia32-libs myself and I can
confirm that this resolves the issue. Skype is working correctly,
including pulseaudio support.
Please add libwrap0 and libgdbm3 to ia32-libs and close this bug.

On October 5th someone added a workaround to the upstream bug report
at https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SCL-510. It consists in
adding the 32bit libraries from libwrap0 and libgdbm3 to /lib32 and
/usr/lib32, as seems that the error happens because those two
libraries are missing.

Building the package fails if the available version of libsndfile1-dev

pulseaudio to lenny.
I suggest adding libsndfile1-dev (>= 1.0.20-1) to the build
dependencies of the package.

Hi,
I've recently upgraded to kernel 2.6.24 as it moved into testing and

Can you please see if the new kernel and the new version of the nvidia

this seems to be related to Bug #459943. Deleting

I am so sorry, I misread the version numbers above!
I now installed the version in unstable (1.12.3-1) of all packages
from the source package evolution-data-server and it now works
flawlessly.
Thanks again and sorry for the wrong post...

did you do? Thanks...

It should be pretty safe to switch to a svn snapshot. There are
actually not that many commits since the last release and a quick
check reveals that they all seem to be just bug fixes. I've been using
revision 21 almost from the day it was committed and I didn't
experience any problems at all.

if I kill gtk-window-decorator I lose all the window borders, however
if I then run metacity --replace it immediately exits just as I
