I can confirm this bug.
My wireless card is a AR2413 802.11bg NIC (rev 01) and I'm using Ubuntu
9.04 with vanilla kernel 2.6.32.2.
When activating the card and loading the ath5k-module, dmesg says:
ath5k :06:02.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 22 (level, low) -> IRQ 22
ath5k :06:02.0: registered as
