On my amd64 Debian/testing (squeeze) running gstreamer-properties creates
a file "registry.x86_64.bin" in the .gstreamer-0.10 directory.
After that Pidgin runs fine.
When I remove that file and restart Pidgin it crashes.
Running "gstreamer-properties" again creates the file again and Pidgin
runs
The updated attached patch makes "remove_txbuttons_cb()" and
"remove_rx_icon_cb()" safer: they can be called any number of times.
Should not make a real difference, when the call-back functions are called

pidgin-encryption/3.0-6 still crashes when an encrypted chat session
window is open on application shutdown.
As pointed out by Paul Aurich ("darkrain") in

In Xorg.0.log I see:
(EE) RADEONHD(0): [dri] CP_INIT failed
(EE) RADEONHD(0): RHDDRIFinishScreenInit: RHDDRIKernelInit Failed.
After installing the Debian/testing package "firmware-linux", this was

I used a 1.3.0 radeonhd Xorg driver, b
For me the "unstable" packages work fine in Debian/testing.
On my amd64:
dpkg -i gnumeric-common_1.9.13-1_all.deb gnumeric_1.9.13-1_amd64.deb
And optionally: gnumeric-plugins-extra_1.9.13-1_amd64.deb and
gnumeric-doc_1.9.13-1_all.deb
Did not do much, yet, but loading a few existing documents
I've installed the "1.4.0+svn.1828-3" version from "unstable" on my
Debian/testing and can confirm that it resolved bug 524395.
thanks for the update.
