After lots of testing and troubleshooting, i managed to fix my problem.
Maybe it helps others also.
I installed systemd-sysv package, and that in process requested to
remove sysvinit-core.
I suspect, that it is dependencies problem, or missing actions in
postinstall scripts or something.

Hello,
Currently this message in dmesg "user@1000.service" is the only one i
get logged. I will try to post new bug reports for other items i will
figure it out.
My Jessie IBM x240 laptop installation is pretty much broken now. Even
after i tried to upgrade to systemd/sid unstable.

When accessing iscsi disks from AIX 7.1 (TL1), we get lots of error
messages, timeouts, etc.
# cfgmgr -l iscsi0 (no errors)
# dd if=/dev/hdisk5 of=/dev/null (not fast, but works)
# mkvg -y vg21 hdisk5 (I/O error)
# mkfs -V jfs2 (I/O errors, timeou
There exist at least one workaround:
1) press Alt+F2 (switch to shell)
2) apt-install busybox -y --force-yes
then repeat the same with linux-image-3.x.x
grub-common grub-pc grub (and all dependencies)
3) retry install task, and see what is missing
After reboot and aptitude update/upgrade wheezy
Perhaps, wrong day to install servers.
I'm stuck with new DELL R420, already made lot of work to get around
Broadcom drivers and firmware.
Using this mirror:
ftp.fi.debian.org
Now trying to do something from VT2, apt-install busybox -y --force-yes

Hi,
I think, that i have found real source of this bug, but not in Debian.
https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/9380
Did some tests, and found that slowness is only in one direction
(virtual->real).
Unplugged cable was coincidence.
This bug should be closed.

What version? The above is part of the package name, not the version
number --- you can see the currently running version of Linux with

Hi,
I think, that this bug is the same i found:
How to reproduce:
1) run hobbit/xymon and monitor ipv4 http server (with A record, no
in DNS).
2) change ipv4 address in /etc/resolv.conf, to only ipv6 address.
3) hobbit/xymon reports lost http service.
distro is i386 / debian-squeeze with
ws to carry DVD image files larger than 4 gb.
Mentioning FAT16 or FAT32 in dialog screen should be easy. Ext2 support could
be nice also.

Another workaround, was to select expert install, and modify command
line to include "vga=0".
At least that worked on ASUS EEE 701 model.
Default framebuffer resolution is too high for EEE 701. Installer does
not detect, if monitor/LCD is capable to display that.

This is correct path (wheezy d-i, not sid).

I have Debian (LXDE) working on EEE PC 701.
Upgraded from Lenny to Squeeze. There were some problems i remember.
Most probably, it is because Debian removed non-free firmware files.
Did you try full install ISO image?
