Dear Colleagues,
I have investigated and fixed the issue:

Dear Steve,
thank you for your support. The build fail is appearing in Debian
now, as the compiler update consequence.
Best regards,

Dear Graham,
I think the fail is result of linking of different versions of zlib via
dependent libraries.
Correct me, if I'm wrong, fitspng has the dependences:
Build-Depends: debhelper-compat (= 13), libcfitsio-dev, libpng-dev
zlib is indirectly linked via both libraries.

The crash can be encountered during startup, when a FITS file [1]
is passed as an argument. This is the second regular way for the
launch: users can pass the file, or double click in a graphical

Hi,
Munipack build on wxWidgets GTK3 port is being planned.
Currently, while building itself is clean, the compiled
xmunipack binary mysteriously crashes.
I already spend a large amount of time with an extensive
inspection of my code under gdb. It points me on a possible

Dear Santiago,
thank you for pointing me to difference of _LDFLAGG, and _LDADD,
and use of convenience libraries in Automake's files. The recent
automake honours little difference, described by manual many years.

Hi Laszlo,
thank you for your worry about dcraw. I've prepared
dcraw update (Jasper is removed from dependencies,
upstream version is updated, CI suite is included,
autotools improved,..) some time ago. Unfortunately,
it is out of my capabilities to push the changes to
collab-maint/dcraw.git
retitle -1 ITA: dcraw -- decode raw digital camera images
It will be maintained within the Debian Astronomy Working Group. A git
repository will be created on alioth [1].

Dear collegues,
could be possible to change priority of dcraw from
"extra" to "optional"? By the policy manual, the
extra priority is for "all packages that conflict
with others". I thinks there are no such conflicts.
Thank you very much
