Yes, I am more than willing to do whatever needs to be done to get this
rolling. If it means I have to roll up my sleeves and learn this in order to
prevent bitrot, so be it. "Be the change you want to see", as the saying goes.

This bug has been her over 6 months now. Is there some sort of issue? I want to
check in because this bug is a fairly straightforward fix, or so it seems.
Seems well overdue that this be resloved and the package returned to testing...
