In ch06.en.html#_troubleshooting_ssh,
"Use the "-P" option if you are root and have trouble with a firewall; this
avoids the use of server ports 1 — 1023."
The "-P" option should be "-p" option. The ssh client only has -p option.

When I execute:

I get the error output:

It should be:
