I can reproduce this bug on two different machines running Lenny
5.0.3, I tried debuild and it seems to work fine, but I CAN reproduce
the bug with dpkg-buildpackage. This bug is a fantom bug

this bug. Ok, I did the steps you suggested but with alsa from
squeeze:
