I tested release 2.7.0-pl2 (downloaded from phpmyadmin.net site) and
phpMyAdim 2.8.0-beta1 . These do not work.
2.6.4-pl4 works.
In 2.7.0-pl2 error seems related to no permission to write /var/lib/php4
when it open a session (I tried to set /tmp as session path
in .htconfig, but this do not take
