Since a few weeks ago the network manager does not work in my *stable*
version (Lenny). Check/uncheck the connection, change the location,
DHCP/IP fixed... without doing anything.
If I run in the console (as root):

My card worked correctly with Madwifi in Etch (stable). Lenny (stable) replaced
it by ath5k and is really bad.
Also it worked bad in other distributions with a kernel more updated. It was a
chaos until I discovered the problem: ath5k.
