I believe this is a bug in the ISC dhcpd. However, I did solve it in my
case (Debian Wheezy isc-dhcp-server 4.2.2.dfsg.1-5+deb70u6).
netstat -pant|grep dhcp
revealed a lot of CLOSE_WAIT sockets to my DHCP server's failover
partner (Ubuntu Trusty isc-dhcp-server 4.2.4-7ubuntu12).

Many of my (all ASCII/English) folders now have "-1" appended to them. The
folder-subscription list now has a bunch of blank ("") folders wit
Unison 2.32.xx is terrible at large (500+MB) file transfers. (It maxes
out at 700KB/s even over gigabit ethernet). Supposedly this is fixed in
the 2.40 series.

This bit me recently (servers shut down down for long weekend).
A temporary fix is to rename or delete "~/.recently-used.xbel".

I'm inclined to agree with the original bug reporter. Either that or it's a
feature of bash: in my .profile
export PATH="~/bin:$DEFPATH"
My PATH evaluates as
~/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games
This only seems to cause problems with which.

With the current shipping joe versions (3.5, 3.7 also likely) the defaults
can be overidden with includes. For example, see my ~/.jmacsrc file below.
(At the last rev, I had in set the default tabbing both before and after
including jmacsrc for some reason.)
