I proposed years ago that we drop this package years ago since it had been
superceded by antlr. At the time, someone was convinced it was a good idea
to keep it and did some work to do so.
If there is a compelling reason to keep it we could try to keep it "limping
along" but I don't feel th
I have noticed that when I do "meta-x compile", it gets VERY slow if there is a
lot of output. (I've noticed it mostly on gigantic single lines - like when a
link line contains hundreds of .o files.) It is so slow that I currently
cannot compile some projects from inside of emacs23.
