Bug#746382: [simple-scan] Regression: Ctrl+1 doesn't trigger a page scan anymore

Downstream bug-report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/simple-scan/+bug/854382 Is this being worked on? It has been over 2-years since the last comment and now that Ubuntu has moved to GNOME, for the default desktop, it would be nice to shore-up some of these niggly paper-cut type issues
