Indeed my friend that was maintaining the Debian package had personal
issues and was not able to maintain it anymore.
Beside being a basic user I am not super familiar with the Debian packaging
process, this being said I would be happy that mumudvb stays in debian.

Please try with MuMuDVB 2, as well as the buffering options in there.
I have implemented a buffer inside MuMuDVB to empty the kernel buffer
and decrease such issues
Unfortunately, due to the lack of a maintainer I don't have MuMuDVB 2
in debian, You'll have to compile it yourself

Yes, it is right, unfortunately my friend which was helping me to package
MuMuDVB does not have the time anymore to do this.
can you help me doing the debian package ? (or check my work ?)
