Since the last upgrade, I have been unable to burn a working DVD video with
growisofs when running at 8x. Every disc has been corrupt in spots. Running at
6x or slower works.

When running growisofs from k3b I've been getting odd speeds reported from
growisofs when burning DVDs. A disc rated at 8x would be reported at 8.2x
instead.
Also, when I request to burn @ 6x or 4x, it wants to burn @ 6.1x.

I've had no trouble with burning using 2.6.8 or 2.6.9 kernels in recent
weeks. With kernel 2.6.10 I get:

are actually with the desklets themselves using code that is no longer
supported in 0.33.1. Most of the psi and LT desklets I'm having problems

I may have been confused by the two announcements in the gdesklets news
page. One announced 0.33 on 1 Jan., and the bugfix was announced
yesterday the 9th.
If the bugfix release is the one I have, then that's the one that broke
displays
