It seems to me that this is not a bug in nm-applet.
In my case it's the bug #598150 in consolekit (for using xdm).
The patch in this message
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=598150#110 fix the issue.

Architecture
Hi,
I think I have found the cause of these two bugs:
the arch-detect patch use OS_TEST="${host_cpu}", which gives powerpc
in my case. But "uname -m" gives ppc.
So I have compiled icedove 2.0.0.9-3 with this change:
change +OS_TEST="${host_cpu}" back to +OS_TEST=`uname -m` in
debian/p
I have compiled 2.0.0.9-3 from source package, without
debian/patches/arch-detect.
(and without the --host=... line in debian/rules, using
debian/patches/autoconf2.13-rerun from 2.0.0.9-1, and removing arch-detect in
debian/patches/series)
It works.

Package: mol
Version: 0.9.70-17
Severity: normal
I don't know if this is a bug of mol.
Il seems that when mol start, it search /usr/sbin/dhcpd :
My mol works fine with dhcp, but not with dhcp3-server.
In /usr/sbin, "# ln -s dhcpd3 dhcpd" resolve the problem.
